Grammar Point:
Using punctuation and capitalization is important in writing. In the above passage there are many sentences that use incorrect punctuation and lack capitalizing the correct words.  The names of people or places must always be capitalized because they are proper nouns.  The first word in a sentence is always capitalized. Look through the passage above and circle the incorrect capitalization errors. Note: There may be punctuation errors as well!

  1. I remember when my brother and I thought we had lost our dog which is a little toy poodle!! We were hysterical because he is such a good dog. Luckily we found him three blocks away from our house! We are still very paranoid when we let him out to the backyard after that occured.
